WHO THIS IS FOR
YOU give everything. This is Yours.
If you’ve every thought “I should be able to handle this”, you’re not alone. The people who care for others most deeply are often the last to ask for care themselves.
This practice exists to change that.
-
Therapists, counselors, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists carrying vicarious trauma, burnout and the weight of work you can’t leave at the office.
-
Nurses, physicians and allied health professionals navigating moral injury, compassion fatigue and a system that demands everything.
-
Police officers, firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers and other first responders experiencing occupational trauma, PTSD, hypervigilance or the emotional aftermath of high-stakes work that doesn’t end once a call does.
-
For those whose work, lives or responsibilities have asked a lot from them and left them carrying more than others see.
HELPING YOU NAVIGATE WHAT’S FEELING HEAVY
the weight has a
name.
What brings people to this practice is rarely just one thing. It can be the weight of demanding work, caring for others, carrying too much responsibility or experiences that have quietly accumulated over time. Part of the work is putting language to what’s been building and understanding what you need now.
You can be affected by what happens to other people, especially when you spend a lot of time listening to, witnessing or caring for people in pain. Over time, that exposure can take a toll, even when the experience didn’t happen directly to you. It’s not a sign that you’re doing something wrong. It’s a response to carrying a lot for a long time.
VICARIOUS TRAUMA
Sometimes what you’ve experienced doesn’t align with what you believe or value. You may have faced situations where there was no good choice, felt unable to do what you believed was right or had to make decisions that stayed with you. That kind of rupture can affect how you see yourself, others and the world, and it deserves to be understood.
MORAL INJURY
When you’ve been running on empty for a long time, eventually something has to give. You may feel exhausted, disconnected, overwhelmed or like you’re just going through the motions. Burnout isn’t a personal failing. It can be a sign that the demands on you have outpaced what you’ve had the time, energy or support to sustain.
OCCUPATIONAL BURNOUT
Caring deeply can take a lot out of you. You may notice yourself feeling less patient, less connected or less able to respond to others the way you once did. Sometimes the person who is always there for everyone else reaches a point where there’s very little left to give.
COMPASSION FATIGUE
Sometimes your mind and body stay on high alert long after the stressful moment has passed. You may find yourself constantly anticipating what could go wrong, struggling to slow down or feeling like you’re always “on.” When stress becomes a constant part of life, it can be hard to remember what it feels like to truly settle.
ANXIETY & CHRONIC STRESS
Trauma doesn’t always come from one defining event. It can develop through repeated experiences, difficult relationships, ongoing stress or exposure to things that overwhelm your ability to process what’s happening. Therapy can help you make sense of what you’ve experienced and understand how it may still be showing up in your life, relationships and body.
TRAUMA & PTSD
Sometimes the life you built no longer feels like the life you want. Work, relationships, major transitions or difficult experiences can change how you see yourself and what matters to you. Therapy can help you explore who you are now, what you want and what gives your life meaning.
IDENTITY & MEANING
If you’re used to being the one who listens, supports, leads or takes care of others, being on the receiving end of care can feel surprisingly uncomfortable. You may know how to help everyone else while struggling to ask for help yourself. That tension is part of the work here; not something you have to figure out before you walk through the door.
THE HELPER WHO NEEDS HELP
If what you are carrying has a name here, that is enough reason to reach out.

In addition to individual psychotherapy, this practice offers a focused range of professional services for clinicians, practice owners and behavioral health organizations. Built from the same directness, rigor and occupational fluency that defines the clinical work.
