This practice offers individual psychotherapy for mental health providers, healthcare workers, first responders and others in service-oriented professions, delivered via secure telehealth across New York and Connecticut. The clinical work is trauma-informed, direct and grounded in a deep understanding of what occupational exposure actually costs over time.
Beyond individual therapy, professional services are also available, including clinical supervision for LMHCs or MHC-LPs and consultation for practices and behavioral health organizations in the areas of metric improvement, practice health and clinician performance.
Everything offered here is built around the same conviction: the people who serve others deserve care that meets them at the level of what they actually carry.

The first step is a free 15 minute consultation call. No paperwork, no intake forms, no commitment of any kind, just a direct conversation to determine whether this practice is the right fit for what you are bringing.
If it is, we move to scheduling an initial 53 minute intake session. From there, the work begins.
To schedule your consultation, reach out directly through the contact form. You will hear back within 24 hours.
The hardest part is usually the moment before reaching out. One conversation can be the beginning of finding support, gaining clarity and discovering that you don't have to face things alone.

Most therapy wasn’t built for people like you, those who have spent careers inside systems that normalize suffering, demand emotional containment and quietly penalize asking for help. This practice is different because we start from shared fluency. You won’t spend sessions explaining what vicarious trauma feels like or why the system is broken; that’s already understood. The work is direct, honest and built around what you are actually carrying. And the goal isn’t maintenance or coping strategies for a life that slowly diminishes you; it’s genuine return. To yourself, to your wholeness, to a life that doesn’t require you to disappear inside your own competence. This practice exists specifically, intentionally, for that.

Individual therapy sessions are $280 per 53 minute session. The initial consultation is complimentary; there is no charge for the 15-minute call.
This practice is out-of-network which means insurance is not billed directly. A superbill is provided after every session so that you can submit for reimbursement through your insurance carrier. Contact your insurance provider and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits for CPT code 90837 before beginning services. It is worth knowing what your plan covers.
A small number of reduced-fee slots are available for early-career providers, volunteers and trainees. If cost is a concern, mention it during your consultation. That conversation will be direct and without judgment.
The fee structure is designed to be transparent. There are no surprises.

That depends on what you need. Weekly sessions tend to build momentum faster for addressing acute circumstances, especially in the early stages of work and are recommended for best practice. Biweekly is a good fit once things stabilize or for those managing cost. We’ll figure out what makes sense together.

I am a private-pay provider. While I don't accept your insurance directly, your plan may have out-of-network (OON) benefits which means your insurance will reimburse you for a large portion of our session cost. If you do have OON benefits, I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you.
They will take care of submitting and managing the claims for you, so you don't have to worry about submitting superbills. Once you meet your deductible, you also have the option to pay a reduced fee for our sessions, instead of needing to pay my full rate and waiting for a reimbursement check. Please use the widget on the Fees page to check whether you have OON benefits and what your approximate expected fee would be post deductible.

I hold a small number of reduced-fee slots for early-career providers, volunteers and trainees. Mention it in your free consultation and we’ll talk openly about what’s possible.

A superbill is an itemized receipt that contains all of the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network reimbursement claim, including the provider's NPI number, your diagnosis code, the CPT code for the service rendered, the date of service and the fee charged.
After each session, a superbill is provided. You submit it directly to your insurance carrier and if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, they reimburse you directly, typically a percentage of the session fee after your deductible is satisfied.
This arrangement keeps your records private, keeps the clinical relationship free from insurance oversight and still allows you to make meaningful use of your benefits.
If you have never used out-of-network benefits before, it is worth a phone call to your insurance provider before your first session. Ask specifically about your OON reimbursement rate for CPT code 90837. This will help you to understand what your plan actually covers.
